Log 0002: First Day on the Scenic Route to a CCNA

Image
Today, I streamed for the first time in a long time. It was a somewhat hard endeavor getting here. I streamed before on numerous occasions. This time felt a little different, a little more minimalist. I still don’t quite know what I am looking for when it comes to streaming, but it didn’t seem like I was willing to study without streaming as a forcing function. That sounds a little silly every time I think about it — why do I need to show anyone else that I’m studying? Isn’t studying enough on its own? I suppose if I tire of streaming at some point, that will give me the answer to my questions.

Log 0001: Writing and large numbers

I wanted to write today. I didn’t know what to write about today. I ran out of time to write today. I find at times that the truth is inconvenient, surprisingly because it doesn’t matter in the way that I think it would. Unfortunately, I anticipate this theme to be pervasive in my blogging. However, I aim to make a hero’s arc of it.

On weblog and starting something old

The year is 2026 and it is halfway through. I spent the better part of the first half of the year in decision paralysis. I wanted to write and share my writing, but the tectonic plates of the internet rapidly shifted. The rise of large language models and the means by which we train them has been discouraging. I believed that we would shun those who would vacuum others’ hard work as their own. My naïveté.
